3D Precision Diagnostics® | Interactive Presentation

MediVisuals’ exclusive NEW innovative 3D diagnostic imaging technology uses CT or MRI data to show clients’ actual anatomy more clearly and accurately than ever before using an interactive platform.

The split screen interface shows the 3D Volume Rendering on the left and the corresponding scan slice on the right. The green line shows what part of the 3D rendering the scan slice is taken from. This is called the “slice plane,” and you can turn the green line on or off by clicking the “Slice Plane” button. The 3D reconstruction has multiple interactive controls. By clicking the corresponding labeled button and swiping your finger across the image you can rotate, zoom, or pan the 3D reconstruction.

To look deeper into the 3D reconstruction, you can use the slider on the far left side of the screen to adjust the surface plane distance. This slider will remove whatever tissue and bone is closest to the viewer, slicing deeper into the reconstruction as the slider moves toward the top of the screen, and putting slices back as the slider moves to the bottom.You can also remove visible layers of soft tissue to reveal the bone beneath. To do this, use the “Opacity” button: swipe your finger right to see through more layers of tissue, and swipe it left to make the layers visible again. To change the way you view the CT or MRI scan slice, use the controls on the right side of the screen. To change the orientation, use the S button for a sagittal view, the A button for an axial view, and C button for a coronal view. After selecting your view, you can pan and zoom to focus on specific areas by clicking the corresponding button and swiping your finger. You can then adjust the contrast to make the area of interest more easy to see: simply click “Contrast” and slide your finger left or right as needed.

To change which CT or MRI slice you are viewing, use the slider on the far right of the screen. If you have the green “Slice Plane” line turned on, you will see it move across the 3D reconstruction on the left side of the screen as you select different scan slices. The slice number you are currently viewing appears at the top of the slider bar.The number bar at the top of the screen allows you to access pre-set slices and views so you can quickly and easily show the images that best represent the injury.
