In addition to hundreds of medical-legal graphics, Knox has created illustrations for scientific and medical journals. His medical-legal, editorial, and surgical line illustrations have won many salon awards at the national annual conference of the AMI.

A long-time singer, songwriter, and guitar player, Knox has performed and recorded music — from rock to alt-country/americana to bluegrass — solo and with groups for over 25 years, most recently with his church’s music ministry.  He is a native Richmonder and has illustrated two children’s books on Richmond history. Knox most enjoys time with his wife and two children and outdoor activities, to include hunting, fishing, and camping.
