Prior to working at MediVisuals, Skye worked as a resident artist at Gallery Edit in downtown Richmond and Communications Director for World Horizons USA. Additionally, she works as a freelance/contract scientific illustrator with clients including the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, the Pulitzer Art Foundation and Maastricht University's MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine. She has participated in multiple shows highlighting the importance of scientific & medical illustration in the scientific community, most recently at the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators 50th Annual Juried Show at the American Association for the Advancement of Science.


Skye is a lover of bees, keeper of plants, and generally curious about anything living or formerly so. She is an avid traveler and spends most of her free time exploring the outdoors with her dog, Possum. When she has time, she illustrates for her children’s book in the works and bakes a variety of breads and treats.
