$10,778,626.00 Verdict – Young Girl Suffers Permanent injuries in a Rear-end Collision

Lim & Associates in California for the $10,778,626.00 verdict they obtained on behalf of their client, a 10-year-old female who was permanently injured in a motor vehicle collision.

The Plaintiff was a passenger in the back seat of the car when it was rear-ended at a stop sign. She suffered a skull fracture, displaced teeth, a T12 transverse process fracture, right internal carotid artery embolization, subdural hematoma, and a traumatic brain injury. The Plaintiff underwent a maxillary mandibular fracture fixation and tooth extraction surgery along with a cavernous carotid fistula embolization.

Mr. Montes de Oca claimed that the collision caused the Plaintiff permanent injuries, including a traumatic brain injury. The Defense argued that the Plaintiff had no structural brain damage and no residual deficits from the collision. The defense offered $1,250,000.00 prior to trial. The jury came back with a verdict in favor of the Plaintiff for $10,778,626.00.
