Endocrine System Imbalance | Stock Animation

This animation demonstrates injuries to the pituitary that occur from the same forces that cause TBIs.  The pituitary is the hormone control center of the body so injuries to it result in several hormone imbalances.  Because the cells that generate growth hormone are in the very front of the pituitary, they are often the ones that are injured when the forces of the impact are transferred through the sphenoid bone.  There is essentially no space between the sphenoid bone and the anterior pituitary so forces from frontal impacts are transferred directly to the anterior pituitary.

Another option is to set this up as a Motion Enhanced® presentation that is built in Powerpoint.
