EXPERIENCE:

After receiving her MSMI degree, Anekay worked as a neurosurgical medical illustrator for Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia for 3 years. She produced neurosurgical illustrations and animations for the surgeons, residents and researchers. She has acquired multiple co-authorships and publications in neuroscientific journals during her time there. Anekay also worked as an Anatomy Lab teaching assistant for the health sciences graduate program at Augusta university every summer.

FUN FACTS:

Anekay is from Jamaica and visits regularly. She has a guinea pig named Benjamin (Benny) that she’s had since 2019.
