Paul currently serves as a primary case consultant/strategist and project director in production for MediVisuals. He joined MediVisuals in 1999 after working as a freelance medical illustrator in Seattle, WA, an associate professor at Ohio State, and 12 years at Vanderbilt University where he was the Senior Illustrator and Supervisor of the Illustration Department. Paul has co-authored and illustrated many medical journal articles and books. He has won numerous AMI awards in line art, color projection, and medical-legal illustration categories.
Paul is an avid hiker/camper and served as a Scoutmaster for years in the Heart of Virginia Council. His freelance illustration jobs include a series of illustrated Bible books for Thomas Nelson Publishers. He and his son, an art director in Seattle, have painted multiple murals in their church. Paul teaches an English as a Second Language Bible class to immigrants in the Richmond area.
