Decompressive Laminectomy at L1,L2 and T11-L4 Arthrodesis

This animation shows the surgical procedure used to treat spinal stenosis, which occurs when spinal nerves are pinched by narrowing at the sides of the spinal column. The surgeon removes the lamina and thickened ligaments to enlarge the space surrounding or near the compressed nerves.
